OBJETO ERRANTE 1 LAB 11

este es un prototipo experimental desarrollado sin pretender suplir necesidades latentes de la sociedad, pero intententando explorar diversas propiedades dinamicas desde lo estructural del objeto, hasta las alternativas vivenciales del mismo, como la interactividad y la sensibilidad espacial.

su cualidad fisica se inspira en la cinetica de las sillas mecedoras, pero se desarrolla tecnicamente a un nivel complejo de diseño teniendo en cuenta la tension, transmision de fuerzas,equilibrio, la gravedad,la velocidad etc. conceptos que aparecen implicitos en el diseño formal del objeto errante.

consta de un conjunto de elementos similares o identicos con una geometría particular diseñada para su dinamismo. dispuestos uno detras del otro se unen por medio de tensores que transmiten la fuerza secuencialmente a cada elemento, generando la honda de transmision expansiva.

se obtienen diferentes formas en cada instante activo que surge, innomerables posibilidades espaciales, esteticas y sensoriales.

the ERRANT OBJECT

This is an experimental prototype, developed without the intention of supplying a specific need; it is simply the desire to explore different dynamic properties, from the structure of the object, to experiential alternatives. Such as: interactivity and spatial sensibility. Its physic condition is inspired on the kinetic of a rocking chair, but it is technically developed to a more complex level of design, taking aspects like tension, strength transmission, balance, gravity, velocity, harmony etc. These concepts are in the formal design of the errant object and its kinesis.

It has a group of identical or similar elements, with a geometric shape similar to an egg, which is designed for its particular movement. Placed one after another they are linked by elastic tensors, transmitting the strength sequentially to each element, creating an expanding transmission sling.

The Object changes its shape constantly, many space, aesthetics and sensorial possibilities come up during the sequence.

It is shown as an itinerant carries, nomad, a space with no context that lives on movement. Changes on the way to its trip and uses this to transfigure the relationship between the inside and the outside constantly.

Its variations respond to changes in the site-specific factors, differences on the land, strength, wind speed, human intervention etc. Making the object to take place, suggesting being a complement of the landscape and the man who inhabits it.
